Quick-rising Nigerian singer, Morravey has revealed how she was found and signed by music govt and DMW boss, Davido.

She shared this in a current interview with TurnTable Charts. In response to her, she posted her cowl of a tune on social media, and the 30BG boss got here throughout it, preferred it, and contacted her for a dialog.

The Port-Harcourt born singer stated she was on her mattress when she acquired a textual content message from Davido, which left her shocked past phrases. She stated he praised her vocal talents and invited her to see him in Lagos.

The DMW’s newest signee, who was featured on Davido’s new album ‘Timeless’, stated,

“I used to be working towards to make a canopy of a tune, [and] my buddy was videoing with out me realizing. So, weeks later, after we couldn’t put up that exact tune, he posted that video [the part] the place I used to be not exhibiting in it. When he posted it, it was in every single place.

“Then, one morning, I noticed one textual content message and once I checked it, it was Davido. I shouted ‘Ye!’ I froze. I used to be on my mattress. After which, I texted my supervisor.

“He [Davido] was like: ‘Your voice is superb. Can I’ve your quantity?’ Then, he texted me: ‘What’s up? It’s David…’ Then, he texted me on WhatsApp and every part went down. He was like: ‘I wish to see you in Lagos.’ And that’s how I pushed from Port Harcourt to Lagos.”
