The Central Financial institution Of Nigeria has lastly bowed to stress from Nigerians after they prolonged the deadline of the expiration of previous Naira Notes by nearly two weeks.

Initially, the APEX Financial institution stood its floor on the January thirty first deadline however it has now introduced that the President authorized a 10-day extension to encourage extra Nigerians to shortly deposit the previous Notes.

The CBN governor, who spoke to journalists Sunday morning, stated he had the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari for the extension.

The brand new deadline is now 10 February as a substitute of the previous 31 January deadline, he stated.
